"Art is a language, a form of creative expression. When you create a piece of art, you're essentially starting a conversation. You invite others to join the conversation as soon as you share your work. My goal is to produce art that is contemplative, interpretive, and uniquely expressed. I invite you to peruse my creative universe, where the language of art has no borders, and no boundaries..."
I am a Canadian artist originally from Amsterdam, Netherlands. I began painting as a form of artistic expression and have developed a distinct style of abstract perspective, enhanced by fresh, vibrant colours, creating strong compositions.

Drawing inspiration from the bustling streets of Amsterdam to the serene landscapes of Canada, my art is a fusion of two worlds. The Dutch influence brings a bold, structured approach to my work, while the Canadian touch adds a layer of organic fluidity and depth. This blend is evident in my latest series, where the interplay of light and shadow dances across the canvas, inviting viewers to explore the space between reality and imagination. Each piece is a journey, a visual narrative that transcends boundaries and speaks to the universal human experience. Through my art, I aim to connect with the audience on a profound level, evoking emotions and sparking conversations that linger long after the initial encounter.
My medium of choice is acrylic with mixed media. Acrylics are water-based, quick-drying, not reliant on any toxic solvents and can be applied to a wide range of surfaces. Because of the properties of its polymer base, acrylic paint can be used in thick applications similar to oils; the paints can also be thinned with water or medium and used in a manner comparable to watercolours. Acrylic is its own medium with its own possibilities, demonstrating the continual power and evolution of visual art.
